This one of my favorite recipe which I learned my Aunty.She is an expert in doing this.She do with Chamba Broken Wheat fine variety.
According to your Broken wheat adjust water level.
This can be done with white rava and vermicelli too.
If using white rava then use 2cups of water for 1 cup rava.
If using vermicelli use 1 1/2 cup to 2 cups of water.
vegetarians can try with mixed vegetables like carrot,beans,peas,cauliflower etc.,
Ingredients
Fry broken wheat in a kadai for a minute and keep it aside.
Heat ghee in heavy bottom pan,fry cashews and resins and keep it aside.
Add onion and fry till it becomes light brown in color,Add Ginger garlic paste and fry well.
Add coriander and mint leaves and fry well.
Add chilli powder,turmeric powder ,salt and garam masala powder and fry for a minute.
Add in Chicken and cook well. Add tomato and saute well till the oil separate.
Pour in water and bring it to a boil,now add broken wheat and mix well.Close the vessel with a lid and cook till done.Garnish with cashews and resins.

- Chicken 1/2 Kg
- Onion 2 Sliced
- Tomato 2 Chopped
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Green Chilli 3-5 Slitted
- Coriander Leaves one handful chopped
- Mint Leaves one handful chopped
- Chilli Powder 1/2 -1 tsp
- Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
- Garam Masala pd 1/4 -1/2 tsp
- Salt as needed
- Cinnamon Stick 1 "
- Clove 3
- bay Leaf 1
- Ghee 2tbsp
- Oil 2tbsp
- Resins 2 tsp
- Cashews 1tsp
